4 suspected robbers who looted a passenger bus in Tando Jam killed in an alleged police encounter, 3 escape

Four suspected robbers were killed and their three accomplices escaped during an alleged police encounter within the limits of Tando Jam police station today.

According to law enforcement agencies, the deceased were linked to a recent robbery on a passenger coach traveling from Mirpurkhas to Hyderabad.

During the incident, the attackers allegedly looted thousands of rupees in cash, gold jewelry, and several mobile phones from the passengers.

Police have identified the deceased as Abdul Quddus son of Hayat Lashari, Asad son of Rajab Buzdar, Abdul Jabbar son of Bahadur Sabzoi, and Irfan son of Abdul Karim Baledi. Four pistols were also recovered from their possession.

Police spokesman Shahid Usman, providing details, said the encounter took place on Link Road following a tip-off. The joint operation involved SHO Tando Jam Liaquat Qanbar, SHO Tando Yusuf Anwar Khanzada, and personnel from other police stations.

SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar praised the police team for the successful operation and said that such actions against criminal elements will continue.

The bodies of the deceased have been moved to Civil Hospital Hyderabad for necessary legal proceedings. A search operation is underway to find and arrest the three suspects who escaped from the scene on a motorcycle.
