Two bodies were recovered in two separate incidents in Karachi today, while law enforcement agencies also reported an injured suspect after a police encounter and another person was injured in a firing incident.
The body of one person was discovered near AGS Company in Site Area. The circumstances of death are still unclear.
After initial police proceedings, the body was shifted to Edhi Home Sohrab Goth Edhi Morgue. The deceased was identified only as approximately 50 years old, with unknown parentage. Site B Police Station is investigating the matter.
In a separate incident, the second body was found near Piyala Hotel. The cause of this death is also yet to be known.
This body was also shifted to Edhi Home Sohrab Goth Edhi Morgue by Edhi ambulance after action by law enforcement agencies. The deceased was identified as Muna son of Kamran, aged 35 years. Taimuria Police Station has jurisdiction over this incident.
Furthermore, one person was injured in a firing incident near Zubair Banquet in Surjani Town Sector D5.
The injured person was identified as Aftab son of Mushtaq, aged 35 years, who was shifted to Abbasi Hospital with the help of an Edhi ambulance. Surjani Town Police Station is looking into this case.
Separately, during a police encounter near Bao Ji Restaurant in Gulistan-e-Johar Block 12, a suspect Asif son of Bilal, aged 23 years, was injured.
The injured dacoit was shifted to Jinnah Hospital by Edhi ambulance. Shara-e-Faisal Police are investigating further.
