The Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, Muhammad Sohail Rajput, has directed regional offices to resolve public complaints within a strict timeframe of 60 days and actively address issues of public interest through “Khuli Kacheris” and suo motu notices.
This directive was issued today at a meeting presided over by Sohail Rajput at the Head Office, where a comprehensive review of the monthly performance of regional directors from interior Sindh was conducted.
Key participants included Secretary Syed Junaid Ahmed, Director General Naseemuddin Mirani, Registrar Masood Ishrat, advisors, and regional directors who virtually attended via Zoom.
Addressing the participants, the Ombudsman specifically directed regional directors to address the increasing number of public complaints and ensure their complete resolution within two months.
Furthermore, he instructed regional offices to regularly hold “Khuli Kacheris” to establish direct contact with citizens and initiate independent actions where public interest demands.
Mr. Rajput highlighted a “clear and positive change” in the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh’s system following the implementation of the new Complaint Management System.
To enhance public trust and satisfaction, he urged regional directors to further improve their operational performance and output.
