policeConstable Obaidullah Khosa, who is associated with Kot Ghulam Muhammad police station, was injured today by a gunshot to the chest. Due to the severity of his injuries, he was initially admitted to Civil Hospital Kot Ghulam Muhammad, later transferred to Hyderabad for advanced medical facilities.
The constable is in a severely injured condition while according to initial reports, the investigation into the firing incident is now being conducted as a possible suicide attempt which arose from domestic issues.
According to later reports, Constable Khosa was reportedly facing distress related to personal disputes. It is now understood that he allegedly attempted to take his own life by firing a weapon in his residential quarters.
Authorities have confirmed that further investigations surrounding the incident are actively ongoing.
