Karachi: Zong, a leading technology service provider in Pakistan, has teamed up with Samsung to launch a Shop-in-Shop initiative and a Trade-In program to accelerate the adoption of 5G-enabled Samsung smartphones in the country. The collaboration will commence with select Customer Service Centers in Islamabad and Lahore, aiming to facilitate easier access to 5G technology.
According to Zong Pakistan, the Shop-in-Shop initiative will offer a centralized platform for customers to explore the latest 5G-compatible Samsung devices. The integration of dedicated experience zones within Zong Customer Service Centers will allow customers to interact with Samsung's 5G flagship portfolio, enabling informed upgrade decisions. Additionally, a cost-effective trade-in program will allow customers to exchange older devices for new 5G smartphones, reducing the entry barrier for users with legacy devices.
Sajid Munir, Head of Marketing at Zong, emphasized the significance of the partnership in fostering a robust 5G ecosystem in Pakistan. The collaboration aims to provide direct access to 5G handsets and a convenient trade-in solution, which Munir believes will enhance digital inclusion and drive technological progress in the country.
The partnership focuses on expanding access to both affordable and premium 5G-enabled smartphones, with Zong reinforcing its commitment to driving the national digital agenda. The Shop-in-Shop and Trade-In offerings are currently available at Customer Service Centers in Islamabad and Lahore, with plans for nationwide expansion to further strengthen the 5G ecosystem across Pakistan.
