A terrorist attempt was foiled today as a result of a successful operation by intelligence agencies and police near Khairpur today, when a bomb was recovered from the railway track near Tando Masti Railway Station.
The swift and coordinated action by security forces and intelligence personnel was credited with preventing a potentially devastating incident.
Following the discovery of the bomb, a bomb disposal unit was immediately called, resulting in the temporary suspension of all rail services in the area. Concurrently, a comprehensive search operation was initiated, accompanied by heightened security protocols throughout the vicinity.
The explosive device strategically placed along the railway line was expertly defused by intelligence agency personnel using a remote detection system. Subsequently, normal train operations resumed once the track was declared safe.
Despite an extensive search in the area by security and intelligence units in connection with this incident, no suspect has been arrested yet.
