Mayor of Karachi visited various areas of the city late at night, inspected ongoing development works

In Karachi, Manghopir Town’s Dedex Road, which was allegedly never built in the city’s history, was inspected late on the night between

Friday and Saturday by Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab, nearing completion. This visit highlighted efforts by Dedex Road in Manghopir Town to address long-standing infrastructure deficiencies in the area.

The city’s Chief Executive inspected the progress of civil works being carried out by the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation. During his night visit, he specifically reviewed the development of Dedex Road located in Manghopir Town and obtained the latest information on its condition from department representatives.

Narrating the historical background of the project, the Mayor observed, “This road was previously unbuilt; as circumstances changed, so did the current condition of this area.”

He further added that the early completion of the road and its subsequent inauguration ceremony would make it accessible to citizens, with their participation being a clear demonstration of public trust in the administration’s efforts.

During the inspection, the Mayor was accompanied by the Town Chairman of Manghopir and members of other political parties.
