Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has enhanced oversight of key urban development projects, visiting University Road today for the third time in a week to review progress, highlighting the urgent need to meet aggressive completion targets for key infrastructure in the southern port city.
Mayor Murtaza Wahab also issued directives today to accelerate construction on Jinnah Avenue, a vital thoroughfare within the city. This directive is part of a broader effort to advance over 700 ongoing development projects supervised under the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation.
The Chief Minister’s recent visits, including today’s inspection of University Road, are aimed at preventing further delays and ensuring uninterrupted progress on the mixed traffic lane. Officials are working to achieve the 90-day completion target for the mixed traffic lane and its accompanying storm water drainage system.
