Sindh’s Interior Minister Zia Hassan Lanjhar has taken decisive action today following the tragic murder of a woman in Jamshoro, allegedly in the name of “Karo Kari.” In a telephonic conversation with the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Hyderabad, Minister Lanjhar demanded the immediate arrest of the accused and assured that strict legal action would be taken.
Minister Lanjhar has directed that the affected family be provided with complete protection and all necessary safety measures. He emphasized that the investigation should be conducted with complete transparency and on merit, leaving no stone unturned.
The minister insisted that all involved individuals, including any accomplices, be brought to justice without delay. He urged the authorities to expedite the investigative process to ensure immediate access to the accused.
