Thatta Soldier Martyred in Waziristan Operation Laid to Rest with Military Honors

A soldier, Yaseen Ahmed Macharo, , martyred in the line of duty while fighting terrorists in Waziristan, was laid to rest today with full military honors, attended by a large number of mourners.

The body of the 20-year-old martyr was brought back to his ancestral village, Ali Muhammad Macharo, located near Baghar Mori. The procession was supervised by Pakistan Army officials and attended by a large number of local residents, family members, and military personnel.

A solemn burial ceremony was held in his family graveyard, located adjacent to the central Eidgah in the historic Makli graveyard. Before the burial, a smart contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a final salute to the martyred hero.

His coffin, draped in the national flag, was lowered into the earth with reverence. In the mournful atmosphere, enthusiastic slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “The martyr’s death is the nation’s life” echoed.

The martyr’s brother, Maqbool Ahmed Macharo, and his cousin, Zulfiqar Macharo, both expressed immense pride in his ultimate sacrifice. They confirmed that the young soldier laid down his life for the homeland.

They further added that such brave young individuals are a valuable national asset, serving as an unyielding barrier against opposing forces in border areas and on various operational fronts.
