Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) reported stable exchange rates for the Pakistani rupee against major international currencies in the open market as of May 8, 2026. The US dollar closed at a buying rate of 279.14 and a selling rate of 279.93.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP), the euro was recorded at 327.40 for buying and 330.51 for selling. The British pound showed a buying rate of 378.70 and a selling rate of 382.13. The Japanese yen was available at 1.76 for buying and 1.82 for selling. Meanwhile, the United Arab Emirates dirham and the Saudi riyal closed at buying rates of 75.98 and 74.33, and selling rates of 76.81 and 75.08, respectively.
