The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has today issued orders for a complete inquiry into the incident that occurred during the raid at Karachi’s Sarafa Bazaar. This step has been taken on the instructions of FIA’s Director General Dr. Usman Anwar, who has expressed serious concern over the incident.
Dr. Anwar has directed the Karachi Zone Director to lead a comprehensive investigation into the incident, so that every aspect of the incident can be thoroughly examined. It is expected that legal requirements will be considered in the investigation, and relevant evidence, including material circulating on social media platforms, will be reviewed.
The FIA is committed to completing this review with integrity while adhering to the principles of transparency and impartiality. The Director General emphasized that the results of the investigation should be presented in the form of a detailed report within 48 hours.
