Significant progress was made in the war against drugs when law enforcement agencies today arrested a notorious female drug dealer involved in the distribution of drugs in educational institutions.
Ambreen, also known as Guddi Chandio, was arrested during a decisive operation by the Hyderabad Task Force. This raid was conducted under the leadership of Hyderabad Task Force In-charge Zain Raza Baloch and SHO Hatri Aslam Baloch, recovering 3,090 grams of hashish and 23.97 grams of heroin from her possession.
This operation was carried out on the instructions of DIG Hyderabad Tariq Razaq Khan Dharijo and SSP Hyderabad Shahzeib Chachar. According to police spokesperson Shahid Usman, Ambreen has been a resident of Aliabad Colony Hyderabad and has six prior cases registered against her in various police stations and the Excise Narcotics departments of the city.
After the arrest, case number 152/2026 under section 9(1)3(c) CNS Act 2024 and 153/2026 under section 9(1)6(a) CNS Act 2024 were registered at Hatri police station. Initial investigations reveal that Ambreen is connected to a vast network responsible for drug access in educational institutions, and further revelations are expected.
SSP Hyderabad Shahzeib Chachar emphasized the police’s commitment to eradicating the menace of drugs, stating that all available resources will be utilized to dismantle drug smuggling networks and ensure community safety. This operation reflects the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies against the widespread issue of drugs in society, particularly targeting individuals aimed at students.
