The Commissioner of Sindh Employees Social Security Institution (SESSI), Hadi Bakhsh Kalhoro, today instructed for immediate improvement in medical services for workers across Sindh. During an extensive tour of medical and industrial facilities on Saturday, Kalhoro emphasized the importance of providing quality healthcare.
Accompanied by the Director of Mirpurkhas Directorate, Suhail Ahmed Khan, the Commissioner inspected healthcare standards at Tando Adam Dispensary, Mehran Sugar Mill, Al Abbas Sugar Mill, and other key institutions. This review included treatment protocols, availability of medicines, patient services, and overall institutional performance.
Director Suhail Ahmed Khan gave a comprehensive briefing on the Directorate’s achievements, medical and financial assistance provided to registered workers, and the status of current social security initiatives. In response, Commissioner Kalhoro urged officials to ensure the prompt and effective delivery of medical care to workers and their families, which he identified as SESSI’s core objective.
Kalhoro highlighted the need to further elevate the quality of care in medical centers and partner hospitals. He insisted on the uninterrupted availability of essential medicines and called for immediate action to address patient grievances to ensure the best healthcare services for workers.
At the conclusion of his visit, the Commissioner appreciated the efforts of the administration and staff in the institutions. He underscored the importance of officers’ sincere services in improving public service delivery, maintaining the welfare of the working class, and strengthening the social security framework.
