Sindh Governor Syed Nehal Hashmi, in his special message on Global Day of Parents, said today that parents are a great blessing from Almighty Allah and a remarkable symbol of love, sacrifice, and mercy.
He stated that Paradise lies beneath the feet of mothers, while fathers are among the finest gates to Paradise. He added that the prayers of parents are the greatest source of success, progress, and prosperity for their children.
The governor said that parents play a fundamental role in the upbringing of future generations, character building, and the promotion of moral values. He noted that parents willingly sacrifice their own comfort, aspirations, and well-being to secure a brighter future for their children, and therefore their selfless love, sacrifices, and services deserve the highest appreciation and respect.
Hashmi emphasized that respecting, serving, and obeying parents is our religious, moral, and social responsibility. He said that strong families, respected parents, and proper upbringing are the foundation of a peaceful, stable, and prosperous society.
