The European Union’s Foreign Policy Chief, Kaja Kallas, today praised the diplomatic efforts of the Pakistani leadership, highlighting the country’s key role in reducing tensions between the US and Iran, which could have escalated into a war.

Kallas highlighted Pakistan’s sincere mediation efforts, which have been crucial in averting a potential conflict. This acknowledgment came after Pakistan facilitated direct negotiations between the delegations of the two opposing countries, helping to significantly reduce tensions.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has been credited with advancing the diplomatic dialogue, effectively removing obstacles between Washington and Tehran. Experts say that Pakistan’s expert negotiation and political strategies have not only contributed to regional stability but also highlighted its growing diplomatic influence globally.
