Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme, Rubina Khalid, says reforms are being introduced to make the programme more effective, transparent, and people-friendly.
During her visit to the BISP Zonal Office and Development Center in Skardu, Rubina Khalid assured women that their problems would be resolved on a priority basis, according to a report today.
She said that, under the special attention of President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, financial assistance for deserving families is being modernized.
She said that free SIMs will be provided to BISP beneficiaries as part of a new digital wallet system.
