Alongside rising inflation, widespread electricity and gas load shedding has wreaked havoc on the daily lives of citizens across the country. With power and gas outages lasting up to 14 hours, the population is facing an extremely difficult life.
This situation has been further exacerbated by the deteriorating state of law and order, with an increase in theft, street crimes, and robberies adding to public distress. Amidst these challenges, Jamaat-e-Islami is running a strong campaign against the government’s excessive spending and rising inflation.
Muhammad Yousuf, General Secretary of Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh, today expressed a commitment to establishing a system reflecting the party’s Islamic principles. Speaking at a major Eid event in Tando Adam, he articulated the resolve to liberate the public from the slavery of tyrannical rule.
The event was attended by a large number of Jamaat-e-Islami members, citizens, and individuals from various backgrounds, reflecting widespread support for the movement’s objectives.
Yousuf emphasized that Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, is actively raising his voice against the injustices faced by common people across the country. The party prides itself on leadership free from corruption and presents itself as a genuine democratic institution in the country’s political landscape.
While the nation is going through these turbulent times, demands for government reforms and accountability are gaining momentum, highlighting the urgent need for systemic change to alleviate the burden on citizens.
