An open court (OCR) will be organized by the Federal Ombudsman on Tuesday, June 9, at the Circuit House Khairpur for public welfare, aimed at addressing the current issues of maladministration and delay in resolving public complaints against federal institutions. This initiative is being undertaken under the auspices of the Federal Ombudsman Secretariat Regional Office Sukkur, aimed at providing immediate resolution of public complaints.
The meeting will be presided over by Dr. Abdul Waheed Andhar, Advisor to the Federal Ombudsman Sukkur. Citizens are urged to participate and present their complaints regarding electricity, gas, NADRA, passports, and educational issues related to Allama Iqbal Open University, etc.
The presence of officers from the relevant federal departments is mandatory so that they are available to directly resolve the issues. This direct engagement will help bridge the gap between federal institutions and the public, promoting transparency and accountability.
In addition, ongoing cases previously registered with the Federal Ombudsman will also be reviewed. Progress on these matters will be assessed, and necessary instructions will be issued to advance pending issues.
This open court represents an important opportunity for citizens to hold federal institutions accountable and obtain timely resolution of their significant complaints.
