6 people injured including woman and children in traffic accidents on GT Road and Adda Satghara in Okara

As a result of two separate traffic accidents in Okara on Tuesday, half a dozen people, including a woman and 2 children, were injured. In the first incident, a carry van and bus collided while taking a U-turn near Mecca CNG on Okara GT Road. A couple in the van was injured and were immediately given initial medical aid by Rescue 1122 teams and then transferred to DHQ City Hospital. The injured were identified as Muhammad Imran, aged about 32 years, and his wife Naila Mazmal, aged about 25 years, both residents of Ibrahim Colony.

In another accident at Okara Adda Satghara, a motorcycle and rickshaw collided head-on, resulting in serious injuries to four people, including two children. Rescue 1122 services responded promptly, provided initial medical aid, and transferred the injured to DHQ City Hospital for further treatment. The victims were identified as Ahmed, a 3-year-old child, and Zulfiqar, 25 years old, both residents of 4/1R Renala. Other injured included Ghulam Zahra, aged about 30 years, and Mahnoor, a 5-year-old, who are residents of Satghara Adda.

Both accidents highlight the critical need for improved traffic management and road safety measures in the area.
