Hashmi, Haroon Vow to Boost AI-Driven Reforms

Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi met Minister of State and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Fahd Haroon at the Governor House today, where discussions were held on the government’s Digital Pakistan vision and ongoing efforts to digitize public services for greater efficiency and accessibility.

During the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in advancing the government’s digitization agenda and promoting the use of modern technology. They also reviewed prospects of emerging communication technologies in Pakistan, preparedness for future developments, and initiatives aligned with evolving technological needs.

Mr Haroon congratulated the Governor of Sindh on the successful completion of Hajj.

The Sindh governor emphasized the importance of equipping the younger generation with modern knowledge and technological skills, stating that digital advancement is essential for economic stability, innovation, and improved public service delivery.

Both leaders also agreed to undertake joint efforts to promote the effective use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the digitization process and to encourage the adoption of modern technologies across various sectors.
