Under the chairmanship of the Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Engineer Amir Maqam, an important meeting today considered the recent electoral successes and strategic direction of PML-N in Gilgit-Baltistan.
The meeting included PML-N candidates from the recent elections, focusing on results, the current political environment, and future strategies. Amir Maqam praised the leaders for a dynamic election campaign, which he said kept the PML-N’s emblem prominent.
He congratulated the successful candidates, saying their victory reflects public trust in the party, loyalty of the workers, and the developmental agenda. Maqam highlighted the significant increase in the party’s vote share, with approximately 22% of the total votes cast in their favor.
The minister emphasized the growing public trust in the developmental vision of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif. He assured that both the party leadership and the federal administration are committed to the development and welfare of Gilgit-Baltistan, promising that they will not abandon the people of this region.
This commitment highlights the focus on development, prosperity, and addressing the issues of the people in the area, which aligns with the broader objectives of PML-N.
