Young man killed in firing in Karachi Landhi Abdullah Goth, encounter in New Karachi SITE. Robber arrested in injured condition

Near the Thursday Bazaar in Landhi Abdullah Goth, a young man was killed today in a tragic shooting incident, marking another day of violence in Karachi.

The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Sultan Haider, son of Nasir Abbas, who was immediately transported to Jinnah Hospital by Edhi Ambulance Services. Shah Latif Police Station is investigating this fatal shooting as they attempt to uncover the motives behind the attack and trace the culprits.

On the same day, in a separate incident, an encounter occurred between police and a suspected robber near the riverbank, specifically in Sector 12D, close to the New Karachi Industrial Area. Due to police intervention, a 25-year-old individual, Fahad son of Muhammad Aslam, was injured. Following the incident, Fahad was transported by Edhi Ambulance for medical attention to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.

The police of New Karachi Industrial Area (NKIA) are continuing investigations into the circumstances of the encounter, to determine Fahad’s involvement in criminal activities and ensure public safety. Both incidents highlight the ongoing challenges in security and law enforcement in the area.
