The C Zone Sindh Ranking Tennis Championship will commence from July 4 at Union Club

The first C Zone Sindh Ranking Tennis Championship is set to begin on July 4, 2026, marking a significant event in Sindh’s sports calendar. According to the statement issued today, it is being organized under the auspices of the Sindh Sports Gala by New Era Creation and the Sindh Tennis Association and promises to showcase emerging and experienced tennis talent from across the province.

Held at the renowned Union Club in Karachi, this championship will feature various categories. The singles events will include men’s and women’s singles, while for young participants, there will be boys’ and girls’ under 15, under 10, and under 7 singles categories. Notably, the championship will also include wheelchair tennis and IDD (Intellectually Disabled) girls’ categories, reflecting a commitment to inclusivity.

The doubles events will include men’s, women’s, and boys’ under 15 doubles, providing tennis enthusiasts with a platform to showcase their skills in a competitive environment.

The tournament aims to increase participation at the grassroots level and encourage the inclusion of youth, women, and players of various abilities. This initiative is expected to energize the local tennis scene, serving as a crucial step for upcoming players to gain experience and exposure.

Applications for participation in the championship will be accepted until July 2, 2026, and players are invited to send their names to tournament referee Muhammad Khalid Rehmani via WhatsApp. To promote broader participation, players traveling from other cities of Sindh will be reimbursed for their economy class rail fare.
