The President of the United Business Group (UBG), Zubair Tufail, has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on the office of Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) in Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar. He termed this attack a failed and cowardly attempt to destabilize Pakistan’s peace and order.
In a statement today, Tufail emphasized that those who target the nation’s protectors are enemies of Pakistan’s harmony, safety, and unity. Nevertheless, he assured that such terrorist acts cannot shake the resolve of the country’s security forces.
Tufail paid an emotional tribute, praising the great sacrifice of the Pakistan Rangers soldiers who were martyred in the attack, for the defense of their homeland and the protection of citizens’ lives and property. He vowed that the nation will always remember their sacrifices with reverence.
Expressing wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured Rangers personnel, Tufail said the nation’s prayers and thoughts are with these brave individuals, and they wish for their swift return to duty.
He praised the exemplary sacrifices of Pakistan Rangers, armed forces, and law enforcement agencies in the ongoing fight against terrorism, which instills pride in the nation. Tufail urged the authorities to bring the culprits to justice to prevent future threats to Pakistan’s peace.
Tufail expressed deep sorrow over the death of businessman Ali Murtaza at the hands of terrorists in the Dasht area of Balochistan. He extended condolences to Murtaza’s family and appealed to Field Marshal Asim Munir, President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif, and Federal Minister of Interior Mohsin Naqvi to arrest those responsible as soon as possible and enforce strict punishments according to the law to eliminate anti-national elements.
