The Balochistan government has issued release orders for compensation payments of Rs11.1 million to each family of police personnel martyred in Ziarat, following directives from Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Media and Political Affairs Shahid Rind said on Friday.
Rind said all administrative and financial formalities had been completed on an emergency basis to ensure the compensation reached the bereaved families without delay. He added that the payments were being delivered directly to the families to provide immediate financial relief.
He said the provincial government would continue to support the families of the fallen police personnel by taking responsibility for their welfare and covering the educational expenses of their children.
Rind stressed that while financial assistance could never compensate for the loss of human life, the government remained committed to standing by the families during their time of grief. He added that every possible form of assistance would continue to be extended to them in the future.
