Pakistan has called for a comprehensive, Haitian-led approach to address the country’s multidimensional challenges.
The call was made by Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, while speaking at the UN Security Council briefing on Haiti, according to an information today.
He said that sustainable peace and stability could only be achieved through political consensus, strengthened security institutions, and coordinated international support.
