Robber injured by citizen’s firing in Karachi Hyderi, youth injured during robbery resistance in Korangi

In Karachi Hyderi today, a robber was injured by a citizen’s firing, while today in Korangi, a youth was injured during robbery resistance.

In North Nazimabad Block H, an attempted robbery escalated when 30-year-old Khalid, son of Maqbool, was injured when a citizen opened fire. The suspect, from whom a pistol was later recovered, is being provided medical assistance while the police continue their investigation. The case is under the jurisdiction of the Hyderi Market Police Station in the Central District.

Meanwhile, in Korangi No. 1, an unknown assailant fired during an attempted robbery, injuring 19-year-old Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Gulzar. The victim was immediately shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medical aid. Authorities at Korangi Police Station are actively investigating the incident.

In another incident, 55-year-old Nisar Khan, son of Adam Khan, from Abdullah Goth, Ittehad Town, Baldia, was injured due to accidental firing from his own gun. He has been admitted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment. Ittehad Town Police Station is currently investigating the circumstances of the accident.

These incidents have raised serious concerns regarding public safety in Karachi, which law enforcement agencies are working to address amidst the rising crime rates in various sectors of the city.
