A tragic incident occurred today in Naseer Mallah village when a 15-year-old student, Shehzad, son of Shabbir Mallah, sadly drowned while swimming in the Mirwah Canal.
Local divers initiated a difficult and lengthy search operation, eventually recovering Shehzad’s body several hours after the accident.
The young boy was transferred to the Rural Health Center Talhar, where medical experts confirmed his death. Subsequently, the body was handed over to the grieving family.
This tragic incident has highlighted the urgent need to enhance safety measures around water sites to prevent such heart-wrenching incidents in the future.
