SIBI: Sana Majabeen, Assistant Commissioner, Sibbi, paid a surprise visit to Sibbi city on Thursday to check price list issued by the district administration during the month of Ramadan, said a statement.
She urged shopkeepers to display price list on a conspicuous place and sell edible items in accordance with the prices prescribed by the district administration. Warnings to several shopkeepers were issued over throwing garbage outside their shops and encroachments.
She warned that if complaint was lodged again, their shops would not only be sealed but fine would also be imposed on them. On the occasion, Assistant Commissioner (UT), Sibbi, Khalid Shams, Tehsildar Sibbi, Naseer Tareen, Levies Risaldar, Mir Arif Marri and Rehmatullah Soomro were also present.
