LARKANA:Accused threw acid on a woman Hakimzadi and eight-year girl Salma within the limits of Badah police station in district Larkana.
SSP Larkana Imran Qureshi took notice of the social media reports and directed Badah police to register an FIR and arrest the accused. Both the victims were sent to Chandka Medical College Hospital for medical examination. Police also arrested accused Khan Muhammad Junejo after lodging FIR No 39/2021 against him under sections 324 and 336-B on the application of Darya Khan Khaskheli, brother of the victim woman.
Police said that the accused and the victim were living sometime ago in Dokri and were neighbours and also had a dispute between them over children’s matters. Further probe was underway.
