Additional Deputy Commissioner Okara visits, conducts detailed review of ongoing development projects

Additional Deputy Commissioner General Ahmed Saleem Chishti has called for accelerating the pace of work in various urban rehabilitation schemes in the city and for no compromise on quality. He emphasized the utmost importance of these projects for public benefit and to enhance the aesthetic beauty of the area.

During a comprehensive inspection conducted today, Mr. Chishti meticulously reviewed the installation of umbrellas and shelters in Food Street. His assessment also included the installation of Victorian-era street lighting and ongoing rehabilitation efforts in Katcheri Bazaar.

The senior official reiterated his firm commitment to expediting the completion of these urban improvements. He issued clear directives to the concerned officers and contractors, emphasizing the need to continue work on strong foundations while prioritizing public convenience.
