QUETTA: Aerial rescue and relief operation in the rain affected areas of Balochistan province kicked off on the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, according to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Wednesday.

1340 kilogram ration was airlifted to Fateh Pur area of district Jhal Magsi for distribution amongst the rain affected families on the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo. Meanwhile, Minister for Mines and Minerals, Mubeen Khan Khilji, has said that the incumbent provincial government had attached immense priority to address the long standing demands of the people at their threshold. These views were expressed by him while talking to a delegation of Civil Hospital Colony Quetta who called on him under the leadership of Dr. Abdul Rasheed Jamali here on Wednesday.

Khilji said, “Water supply scheme has been installed in Civil Hospital Colony, Quetta for the sole purpose of addressing the long-standing demand of the residents of Civil Hospital Colony, that is, scarcity of pure drinking water”, adding that new development schemes would be reflected in the PSDP for the next fiscal year to address other issues of Civil Hospital Colony, Quetta. Delegation thanked Minister for Mines and Minerals Development to have installed water supply schemes in Civil Hospital Colony, Quetta.
