A significant professional development initiative aimed at equipping university educators with modern pedagogical skills concluded after three days of intensive training. The program focused on integrating digital technologies into higher education to enhance teaching methodologies.

According to a report by AKU today, the faculty development workshop was a collaborative effort, conducted by Aga Khan University (AKU) under the framework of its University Improvement Programme (UIP), and hosted at the University of Chitral.

Participants were provided with hands-on experience in a range of contemporary educational practices. The sessions covered digital and blended learning strategies, the effective integration of Learning Management Systems (LMS), and the application of interactive teaching tools designed for today”s classrooms.

The primary objective of the program was to foster a culture of innovation and advance the standards of teaching excellence among the university”s academic staff.

The successful completion of the learning event was attributed to the active engagement of all participating faculty members and the guidance provided by the facilitators from Aga Khan University.
