AJK Legislative Assembly and Kashmir Council in its joint session held in Muzaffarabad this evening adopted Azad Jammu and Kashmir Interim Constitution (Thirteen Amendment) Act, 2018.
The Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs presented a report of Committee on Bills in the House.
The House also adopted a resolution expressing gratitude to outgoing government for approving constitutional amendments giving administrative and financial autonomy to AJK government.
The resolution also paid tribute to the untiring efforts of the AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan and his parliamentary party.
The resolution congratulated the house on completion of constitution and democratic evolution of the state since 1971.
Expressing his views Raja Farooq Haider Khan congratulated the house on this historic day and said we have to shoulder our responsibility on the new Kashmir rise from today.
Later the speaker adjourned the session sine a die.
