An alleged drug dealer was taken into custody in an injured condition after an intense exchange of fire with law enforcement personnel in the Shareefabad area.
The encounter occurred during an operation conducted today by the Special Investigation Police. Following the shootout, authorities successfully apprehended a suspect.
A pistol, along with bullets, and a quantity of illegal drugs were recovered from the suspect’s possession at the scene.
The injured suspect has been moved to a nearby hospital for medical treatment under police custody.
