QUETTA: Central leader of Awami National Party (ANP), Engineer Zamrak Khan Achakzai said Thursday that false propaganda surrounding Form-45 was being disseminated by his opponents due to their inability to accept his success in the re-polling of Balochistan Provincial Assembly constituency No.50 in Killa Abdullah.
Speaking at a press conference held at the Quetta Press Club alongside other provincial leaders, Achakzai stated that despite attempts by opponents to disrupt the re-polling, which took place on April 21, 2024, the district administration and security forces effectively maintained control over the situation.
He highlighted his victory as an ANP candidate over the joint candidate of the Pushtunkhwa Milli Awami Party and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf.
Achakzai noted that the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl had supported his opponent during the re-polling. He indicated that the provincial leadership of the Awami National Party would determine whether to align with the treasury or opposition benches.
