Anti-India protest demonstration in Muzaffarabad

Muzaffarabad, September 07, 2020 (PPI-OT): A protest demonstration was held in front of the United Nations Military Observer Group in Muzaffarabad, today, to condemn the ongoing Indian military siege and state terrorism in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The protest was organized by Pasbaan-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir on the completion of 400 days of military siege and state terrorism in IIOJK since August 5, last year.

The Chairman of Pasbaan-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir, Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, Vice Chairman of International Forum for Justice, Mushtaq-ul-Islam, Director of Kashmir Liberation Cell, Raja Sajjad Lateef, Khan, Usman Ali Hashim and Azmat Hayat led the protest rally. The protesters on the occasion, holding banners and placards, chanted full-throated slogans against the Indian state terrorism in IIOJK and in favour of freedom.

Addressing on the occasion, the speakers said that Jammu and Kashmir was an internationally recognized disputed territory but the Modi-led fascist Indian communal government repealed its special status on August 5, 2019 and imposed military siege in the territory.

They said that during the last 400 days, Indian troops martyred 237 Kashmiris including women and children, destroyed residential houses and structures and sent many innocent people, especially youth, different jails of India and IIOJK.

The speakers deplored that India under a planned conspiracy was massacring the Kashmiri youth to change the demography of the territory, adding that India would never succeed in its nefarious designs. The protesters also submitted a resolution to the Military Observer Group, demanding halt to the growing human rights violations by the Indian troops in IIOJK and right to self-determination to the people of the territory.
