QUETTA: Anwar Dumar, Chairman, Grand Employees Alliance, Metropolitan, Quetta, has said that the protest camp of GEAM would continue till acceptance of all demands.
Addressing a press conference at Quetta Press Club along with Dr Abdul Haleem Kasi, President, GEAM and others here on Monday, he said that employees of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation had set up a protest camp outside Quetta Press Club, but despite lapse of 28 days, no response from the Administrator, QMC regarding acceptance of genuine demands had been received so far.
He said that the demands of GEAM had already been brought into the notice of Chief Minister Balochistan, Chief Secretary, Balochistan, Minister for Local Government, Secretary, Local Government and Registrar, High Court of Balochistan in black and white, but no action had so far been taken for addressing the genuine problems of the employees of Metropolitan Corporation, Quetta. He added that the protest camp of GEAM would continue till acceptance of all genuine demands.
