Islamabad, October 30, 2019 (PPI-OT): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter organized a condolence meeting in Islamabad, today, to pay glowing tributes to celebrated Kashmiri scholar, Dr Syed Abdul Rehman Gilani, who died of cardiac arrest in New Delhi last Thursday.
Dr Syed Abdul Rehman Gilani was elder brother of APHC-AJK Convener, Syed Abdullah Gilani. The participants on the occasion expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sudden death of SAR Gilani. They paid rich tributes to his academic and literary services and his commitment to the Kashmir cause. The participants recited the holy Quran and offered special prayers for the departed soul. They also expressed solidarity with family members of the bereaved and prayed for their patience at this great loss.
