Arrival of Kazakhstan’s delegation in Karachi, Minister of Industry welcomed at the airport

A high-level delegation from Kazakhstan, led by the influential business personality and CEO of Freedom Holding Corporation, Mr. Timur Turlov, arrived in Karachi today on an important visit to Pakistan. The arrival of the delegation in Karachi marks the beginning of a three-day official mission aimed at strengthening economic and trade relations between the two countries.

The provincial Minister for Industry and Commerce, Jam Ikramullah Dharejo, warmly welcomed the Kazakh representatives at Jinnah International Airport, where they were greeted with traditional Sindhi hospitality, including bouquets of flowers and cultural symbols such as the Sindhi cap and Ajrak. The delegation, which holds the status of ‘state guest’ by the federal government, has come to explore investment opportunities in the Sindh province.

The group included in this visit, comprising Ms. S. Stajan, Mr. O. Smolyakov, Mr. T. Rahimov, Mr. R. Zamashyev, and Mr. S. Prmakhanov, held discussions with Minister Dharejo, focusing on opportunities for mutual economic benefits. This visit reflects Kazakhstan’s intention to promote close ties and economic cooperation with Pakistan.

After their engagements in Karachi, the delegation will proceed to Islamabad, where they will meet with senior government officials and key business leaders, and further discuss strategic partnerships. This initiative aligns with their goal of enhancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation, reflecting the significance of this diplomatic mission.
