Authorities recover body of young man from Indus River; identified through biometrics

The body of a young man was recovered from the Indus River on Monday within the limits of the Korai police station, later identified as a local resident.

The body was found in the riverine area of the kacha.

Authorities have formally identified the deceased as Mansoor Ahmed, son of Muhammad Musa Jamali. He was a resident of the Ghareebabad neighborhood near Siyal Naka in Dadu.

Police confirmed in a statement that the individual was identified through the biometric system, which enabled a conclusive identification.

After completing all necessary procedures, the young man’s body has been handed over to his heirs.
