The President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, met with the President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Azad Kashmir, Shah Ghulam Qadir, at Kashmir House in Islamabad. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the current tension between Pakistan and India and the Kashmir issue.
President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry, expressed satisfaction with the effective response by the Pakistan Army to Indian aggression. He strongly condemned the martyrdom of innocent civilians due to Indian firing.
Barrister Sultan Mehmood Chaudhry welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump’s offer to mediate on the Kashmir issue and emphasized the need for a trilateral solution to the problem. He stated that the resolution of the Kashmir issue should be in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
The meeting also covered discussions on the latest political situation in Azad Kashmir and matters of mutual interest.
