The Balochistan Civil Secretariat remained closed to the public on Friday without prior notice, forcing hundreds of citizens to return from the Secretariat’s gates.
All gates of the Secretariat remained closed to ordinary citizens, while security personnel on duty turned visitors away, citing various reasons, including the Friday holiday, a security alert, and the closure of administrative offices at the Balochistan Civil Secretariat.
Due to the absence of advance notice, thousands of visitors who had travelled from remote areas faced significant inconvenience and hardship.
