QUETTA:The Balochistan government Tuesday extended province-wide lockdown till May 5, 2020 to control rising coronavirus cases.
The Balochistan Home Department issued a notification in this regard today, in which it said that all public gatherings, inter-city and provincial travel, and religious gatherings will remain banned. The notification said that strict action will be taken against the violators.
The government has advised people to stay home and ensure social distancing. However, industries have already been allowed to resume operations by adopting Standard Operating Procedures issued by the government. A s many as 465 coronavirus cases have emerged in Balochistan by Tuesday.
