QUETTA: Balochistan International Congress rallied and held a protest demonstration outside Quetta Press Club on Saturday, demanding authorities to expedite efforts for curbing the menace of drugs from society.
In order to mark World Drug Day, a rally under the aegis of Baloch International Congress was taken out from the lawn of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation. The rally marched through Anscomb Road, Jinnah Road and reached Quetta Press Club where a protest demonstration was held.
Addressing the protest demonstration, speakers demanded of the authorities to take steps for rooting out the menace of drugs. The protest demonstration was addressed by Mir Nasrullah Zehri, General Secretary, Balochistan International Congress, Dr Shahzad Marri, Muhammad Khan Sasoli, Wazir Khan Hasni, Nazeer Ahmed Sasooli, Wazir Khan Hasni, Dr Ejaz Ahmed Khetran and others.
