QUETTA: Dr. Amin Mandokhail, Medical Superintendent (MS), Sandeman Provincial Hospital (SPH), Quetta, has imposed complete ban on entry of medical representatives of different pharmaceuticals or any other companies in the premises of Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta, especially at OPDs, Casualty Department and various wards, to provide timely health facilities to in-door and out-door patients at SPH, Quetta, PPI learnt Saturday.

A circular issued by Dr. Amin Mandokhail, Medical Superintendent, Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta says that patients come from far flung areas of Balochistan for consultation with doctors and to get health facilities, but due to the visits of medical representatives of various pharmaceuticals or other companies in the hospital, the patients are not getting sufficient time from doctors, therefore, it has been decided to impose complete ban on entry of medical representatives of different pharmaceutical or any other companies in the premises of Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta, especially at OPDs, Casualty Department and various wards, to provide timely health facilities to in-door and out-door patients at SPH, Quetta.

Circular further says, “If any medical representative of any company found in the premises of the hospital, he /she will be handed over to the police and F.I.R would be launched against him /her or company and no excuse will be entertained”.
