Bangladesh Civil Service Delegation Visits NIPA Karachi, Reviews Bilateral Cooperation

A twelve-member delegation of Bangladeshi civil servants has completed a historic inaugural visit to the National Institute of Public Administration

NIPA Karachi, a significant step towards strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. This two-day program, part of an executive development initiative, highlights the commitment to enhanced cooperation in environmental resilience, public sector training, and policy innovation.

.This two-day visit is part of an Executive Development Program organized by the Civil Services Academy (CSA) Lahore, with the theme of Strategic Leadership, Governance Systems, and Policy Innovation. The delegation is led by Mr. MD Raihan Akhtar, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration

while other members include senior officers from various key ministries, including Ms. Salma Siddiqua Mahtab, Muhammad Mustafa Jamal Haider, MD Abu Raihan Mian and others. On this occasion, the national flags of Pakistan and Bangladesh were also hoisted and the national anthems of both countries were also presented

A significant part of the program was a detailed discussion focused on the publication of former State Bank Governor Dr. Ishrat Husain, which sheds light on economic reforms, governance structures, and institutional improvement. Dr. Husain, , emphasized the central role of women’s empowerment in Bangladesh’s achievements and the need for strong state structures for national development.
