QUETTA: Mark Bristow, Chief Executive Officer, Barrick Gold, made a telephone call to Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo to felicitate him on the signing of Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project.
According to a statement issued by the Chief Minister’s Secretariat here on Saturday, the solid and clear stance of Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, on Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project deserved to be appreciated, said Mark Bristow, adding that Barrick Gold Corporation would submit plan regarding feasibility study of the project and social development.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister Balochistan said that Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project was aimed at altering the lot of Balochistan, adding that social development projects reflected in Rekodiq Copper and Gold Project would soon be executed.
During the course of discussion between Mark Bristow, Chief Executive Officer, Barrick Gold and Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, it was agreed that confidence of the local people and their sense of representation carried immense significance.
