Bid to smuggle 200kg hashish to Karachi foiled

KARACHI: Sindh Excise and Taxation Department and Narcotics Control Department foiled an attempt to smuggle a huge quantities of hashish to Karachi.

 

According to the department information on Thursday, 200kg hashish was recovered from truck No LXP-2676 coming from Peshawar at Rohri check post while two accused Abbas Ali and Najibullah were arrested and a case was registered against them.

 

Provincial Minister for Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control Department and Parliamentary Affairs, Mukesh Kumar Chawla has congratulated the raiding team on successful operation. He directed the officers to take strict measures against drug dealers. Chawla asked the officers to foil each and every attempt to bring drugs into Sindh.
